Omg. It's hard to find good mexican food near me. I would go to those places that they cook at home. But it's the best thing that had happened. I found this place. Brought all my family here. Now we come here foe breakfast and brunch. The menudo is the best best best best!!!!!! Even with tortillas hecho a mano. It is delicious. My children like the pancake egg plate. Very good.
The food was okay. Cosey local spot i didn't know was there. Glad to see a Mexican restaurant in my local area we lack many thing here, so to see this place was nice. You can sit down and eat or do like I did and have take out. I will say charging $3.45 for a little bit of chips and salsa you give for free to the sit down patrons is a bit crazy to me.
Don’t be fooled by curb appeal, this is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. I live in San Diego so I’m surrounded by Mexican restaurants. This one stands far beyond the rest. Friendly authentic atmosphere and the food was incredible. Everything seasoned so well and flavorful. Many Mexican restaurants have a similar taste and sometimes can be underwhelming but this one is amazing. If you are ever anywhere near the area make it a point to stop. You won’t be disappointed.
Delicious food and great selection! I got the mole chilaquiles with carne asada and they knocked it out of the park! The only thing I would change is not having my carne asada slightly overcooked but it was still very much edible. Update 2025, this visit was much different, I asked for them to not overcook the asada and I was given a smaller portion and more burnt then last time. The plate seem to get lighter but managed to be $20 just for the plate. The mole seemed cold as well, I only ate it because I was hungry and it was expensive. So sad to see a favorite decline so fast. Still had great service though.
